Per Lindström Lussi

Per Lindström Lussi born 1967 in Stockholm and is originating from Laponia (Swedish Lappland). He is Naval Architec and Marine Engineer with an extensive experience and education in the field of speciality nuclear power welding operations, marine operations and ship […] building; and R&D related there to. He has a PhD in Technology and is since 2017 working as associated professor in Marine technology at Linnaeus University in Växjö, Sweden. At Ájtte Sámi museum during the Jokkmokk winter market, February 2023 Per Lindström Lussi presented his revitalisation of the more than 1200 year old Sámic hunting and fishing boat type 'Håp'. That is a lightweight portable clinker gig boat designed and continuously optimised during centuries for hunting, fishing and transport on the demanding water ways of Sápmi.
